In the original, the silencer for the car GAZ-24 "Volga" was carried out with external insulation with asbestos. Therefore, when installing the proposed muffler, it is necessary to make a heat-insulating screen (an additional sheet of iron) on the bottom of the car in the place closest to the muffler (as is done on all modern cars), or to heat the muffler itself (to cover it with heat-insulating, non-combustible material and scald it outside iron sheets).
