The book tells about the trucks of the MAZ “two hundredth” family, which in the history of the Soviet automobile industry and motor transport, without exaggeration, have become a whole era. For three decades in the USSR they were the main construction dump trucks, heavy vehicles, the base for a wide variety of special vehicles, truck tractors, timber trucks, etc. At the same time, the history of the MAZ-200 family is by no means devoid of little-known pages and simply “white spots”, which it is time to highlight or at least touch upon. And, finally, it is indisputable that these workers, tested over years of hard work, deserve a detailed and detailed story about themselves. The first volume of the book was entirely devoted to MAZ-205 dump trucks. The second volume tells about the onboard MAZ-200, about all their modifications, as well as about the many varieties of special equipment mounted on their chassis.
