GAZ-21C "Volga" 1968

Hello!

I want to introduce myself and my 21 Volga, which has just come out after three years of repair.

My name is Marian Plesnik - my GAZ-21C Volga car, 1968 of release. I am in the town of Ivanka pri Nitre it is near the town of Nitra in Slovakia. I purchased this car on September 22, 2013 in Slovakia. The restoration began in December 2015 and finished in September 2018. It took about 3 years. All the work done by yourself, it was not easy, painting made me a professional in this matter. I do not have another retro car, but I wish I had a GAZ-12 "ZIM" or 13, or maybe 14 model "Chayka" (Seagull), but it costs a lot of money and I don’t have it. To the respected GAZ brand, I have tender feelings, because when I was 13 years old, my father had 21 Volga. Until 1986, this car was in our family, but then I, unfortunately, sold it and bought a LADA-2105 with an engine of 1300 cubic centimeters. In 2015, I retired and fell ill (since the GAZ brand was sweet to my heart) and bought this Volga GAZ-21C for healing.

On October 11-14, 2018, I participated in the international motor show in the city of Nitra, where one of the pavilions was dedicated to oldtimer cars. There were about 100 vintage cars, but the GAZ car, there was only one - this is my Volga. Photos you can see.
